    About the Bachelor’s degree

If you are one of those people who enjoy assembling and disassembling electronic devices and computers, repairing and improving them and want to understand how they work and are passionate about developing smart devices, then this is for you.

With this degree you will see how amazing it is to apply electronics and device programming to fields such as industry, transport and, in general, to all those areas in which added value can be provided with advanced devices, applying them to sectors such as:

    • Medicine
    • Transport
    • Environment
    • Industry

It also responds to the growing need for companies to adapt to new production techniques and technologies with electronic devices and process automation.

WE PREPARE YOU FOR YOUR FUTURE CAREER

    1

    Career outlook

An increase in demand is estimated for automation, robotics and electronics and innovation profiles, as well as those combined with process optimisation and quality (Labour market guide, HAYS).

    2

    Demand for engineers

There is a growing demand for highly qualified engineers to support high value-added developments of the 21st century Especially in highly industrialised regions.

    3

    Future career trends

Employment in the scientific and technical sector will increase by 10.5% between 2023 and 2033, double the national average. This growth reflects how the adoption of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies continues to drive strong demand for specialised talent. (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics)

    4

    Industry 4.0

After a decade of driving industrial digitalisation through the Basque Industry 4.0 strategy, the Basque Government has reinforced its support with the 2025 Industrial Support Plan, allocating €500 million to strengthen the industrial sector, with a particular focus on SMEs.

    5

What professional profiles are companies looking for?
