All members of the University Community can be members of the Deusto Tamborrada. Priority will be given to University of Deusto staff. Registration may then be open to alumni, students and people from other works of the Society. There will also be a category of guest members (considered as first-degree relatives of UD staff: spouse, child, or sibling).

Registration must be done through this website by completing the following form. Based on this information, all communications must be sent by email: tamborrada@deusto.es.

The UD Tamborrada Committee will assess applications and will communicate in writing the acceptance, refusal or status on the waiting list.

The initial fee is €190, which entitles the member to ownership of the costume. In subsequent years, a fee of €55 must be paid. A one-year participation fee, by contrast, is €75.

These fees will be used to repair instruments, purchase new equipment and pay to the band.

Fees will be determined by the UD Tamborrada Committee.

A decision on applications will be made in November.

This first year the Tamborrada will be made up of 60-90 people, distributed as follows:

• 1 Standard-bearer.
• 1 Drum major
• 20 Drums.
• 1 Barrel corporal.
• 40-70 Barrels - Water carriers.

The company will be joined by a band with at least 14 members.

The committee is empowered to change the composition of the Tamborrada.

Attendance at rehearsals is compulsory and minimum requirements will be established.
The rehearsals established for this first year will be as follows: 18:00 to 19:00, in the sports centre of the Manuel Larramendi Building.

January: 7, 8, 13 and 14

These regulations shall be reviewed and approved by the Committee on an annual basis.

In any case, the Committee may adopt any decision that may be necessary to deal with the situations that may arise and will communicate it on the website.
