Employment and entrepreneurship forum

About the Forum

More than 70 companies seek talent at the 21st Deusto Employment and Entrepreneurship Forum

On 25 and 26 February, the University brought together organisations from different sectors and institutions to promote the employability of its students. The event opened with a conference and debate on talent, return and the future of employment in the Basque Country featuring Guillermo Dorronsoro and Mikel Torres, among other speakers.

On 25 and 26 February, Deusto opened its doors to talent with the 21st Employment and Entrepreneurship Forum, a now-classic event at the University that brought together more than 2,000 students and recent graduates seeking employment. More than 70 companies and organisations from across all sectors took part in the forum to meet and recruit their future professionals.

In addition to the stands, numerous activities were organised to explore real-world experiences, market trends and the most in-demand profiles. Among these, the highlight was a series of roundtable discussions with industry specialists. Organised by Deusto Alumni in collaboration with the University’s various Faculties, they explored topics such as new technologies and health, public-sector careers in Economics or Law, AI applications in Engineering, how to prepare a CV, and opportunities for working in European institutions. There were also speed interviews with organisations and “escape rooms”, organised by Lanbide, among other initiatives.

The Forum, with a 20-year history, reflects the University’s approach, which is focused on supporting students as they begin their professional journey.
