Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Committee of the University of Deusto is the institutional body responsible for defining and coordinating the University’s strategy on AI, with an ethical, human-centred, and responsible approach.

Its aim is to ensure that AI is integrated into teaching, research, and university management in a way that aligns with Deusto’s values, always prioritising the common good, equity, and human dignity.

The Committee serves as an internal point of reference for all matters related to AI: it promotes training for academic staff and students, establishes best practices for the responsible use of these technologies, and supports the university community in their adoption.

Guided by the principles set out by UNESCO and in Deusto’s Declaration of Human Rights in Digital Environments, the Committee promotes a vision in which technology always serves people, fostering transparency, sustainability, and critical reflection on the impact of artificial intelligence on society.
