The Law School has obtained certification for the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with Unibasq's AUDIT programme and more than 50% of its degrees have passed the individual degree accreditation renewal process, which means that it has had Institutional Accreditation since November 2018. The institutional accreditation of centres is an alternative to the accreditation model for official university degrees. To this end, the synergies of the verification and renewal of degree accreditation are used along with those of the certification process of QMS implementation.
The Quality Management System at Deusto Law School is made up of the whole of the organisational structure, management responsibility, processes, action procedures and resources that are established to carry out quality management. The Dean is responsible for the Quality Management System with the support of the Centre's Quality Committee, the Quality Committees for Degree Programmes and the advice of the University of Deusto’s Quality Unit. All stakeholders involved in the Centre and the degree programmes are represented in these committees.
The system is maintained and continuously improved through the implementation of the quality policy and the objectives of the Faculty's strategic plan, the evaluation and analysis of stakeholder satisfaction, the analysis of process results, audits and the review of the system by the Centre's Quality Committee.
