QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION

The Law School has obtained certification for the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with Unibasq's AUDIT programme and more than 50% of its degrees have passed the individual degree accreditation renewal process, which means that it has had Institutional Accreditation since November 2018.

The institutional accreditation of centres is an alternative to the accreditation model for official university degrees. To this end, the synergies of the verification and renewal of degree accreditation are used along with those of the certification process of QMS implementation.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The Quality Management System at Deusto Law School is made up of the whole of the organisational structure, management responsibility, processes, action procedures and resources that are established to carry out quality management.

The Dean is responsible for the Quality Management System with the support of the Centre's Quality Committee, the Quality Committees for Degree Programmes and the advice of the University of Deusto’s Quality Unit. All stakeholders involved in the Centre and the degree programmes are represented in these committees.

The system is maintained and continuously improved through the implementation of the quality policy and the objectives of the Faculty's strategic plan, the evaluation and analysis of stakeholder satisfaction, the analysis of process results, audits and the review of the system by the Centre's Quality Committee.

La Facultad de Derecho tiene certificada la implantación del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad según las directrices AUDIT de ANECA. Dicho sistema está sometido a un proceso de mejora continua a través del análisis de indicadores de procesos y de la sistemática definida para ello.

Uno de los objetivos primordiales de la Universidad de Deusto es alcanzar la satisfacción de todos los grupos de interés de la comunidad universitaria, respecto a las actividades y a los servicios que ésta ofrece.

The results of the QMS indicators are annually analysed by the Centre’s Quality Committee and the Quality Committees for the Degrees. Depending on the results, the appropriate improvement actions are established, which guarantees the sustainability and efficiency of the degrees and the Faculty.
