DeustoBide - School of Citizenship is an educational space open to everyone, regardless of age, qualifications, or prior training, created out of a desire to address the questions that emerge from our context. In 2023, DeustoBide celebrated its 30th anniversary, establishing itself as a pioneering and leading space for adult education, focused on the enjoyment and personal development of its students.
Since the 2022/23 academic year, in collaboration with "la Caixa" Foundation, DeustoBide has offered the University Cultural Leisure programme in San Sebastian, held in the afternoons.
The aim of DeustoBide's educational programmes is to promote social interaction and to foster a critical and engaged sense of citizenship in building a model of cooperative living.
In September 2025, DeustoBide will launch a new programme called the “Diploma in Culture and Society,” designed to provide multidisciplinary university-level training that equips students with the tools to better understand today's world. It is designed for adults who are eager to continue their education and wish to experience—or return to—the university environment, focusing on the enjoyment that comes from lifelong learning.
