You can study the degree in Basque or in Spanish. In both cases you can enrol in subjects in English. If you study the degree in Basque, you will acquire a C1* language profile (*BOPV - Decree 47/2012).
This degree will give you access to the master's degree that will allow you to work as a teacher in Secondary Education, Baccalaureate studies and Vocational Training.

The University of Deusto boasts a long tradition in the education of professionals in the world of education, health, leisure and management. We can also say that it is currently the only university that offers the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences in Biscay and Gipuzkoa, and it is the only private centre that offers it in the Basque Country and neighbouring territories.
In the last year of your degree, you will do an external internship, where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt. This is a personalised and tutored plan that you will carry out in sports clubs, federations, educational institutions, gyms and similar entities in the sector that have been especially selected by the Faculty.
In your3rd year,, you will have the opportunity to get to know another social education learning context, either for one semester or a full academic year, thanks to our exchange programmes with leading Spanish and European universities.
The Bilbao campus houses a modern sports complex of more than 13,000 m². The sports infrastructure includes a two-storey building of 9,845 m², built under the football pitch.
The facilities include 3 paddle tennis courts, 3 multisports-basketball courts, 4 gyms, fitness room, 6 rooms for other activities, athletics track, etc.
You will have the option of completing your training with an interesting postgraduate and doctoral programme in the fields of Education and Health. This proposal will be even more complete by including the fields of Sports Management and Recreation in collaboration with Deusto Business School (DBS) and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.
You will find a close learning environment and personal tutoring from first to fourth year of study. Your tutor will guide you academically, personally and/or professionally. In addition, you will have a teaching team ready to guide you in any questions you may have throughout your studies.
