    Why study this Master’s degree?

    Programme highlights

    01

    A solid track record

The Basque Foundation for Mental Health Research (OMIE) is a pioneer in the promotion of community therapeutic resources, which highlights over forty years of experience in training specialists in the specific area of Group Psychotherapy.

In carrying out this task, he collaborates as a member of EGATIN (European Group Analytic Training Institutions Network).

    02

    A focus on growth

The use of group techniques and approaches for psychotherapeutic purposes is now widespread and well established. It has proven to be a valuable tool for understanding interpersonal dynamics, for substantially improving the outcomes of psychotherapeutic care in general, and also as a way of understanding institutional dynamics and how they affect the development of psychotherapeutic processes.

    03

    High outreach

Several national and international administrations are still working today to promote intervention programmes that include group-based approaches.

These are key to understanding and solving relational problems, as well as alleviating the burden of care work.

    04

    Group work

The aim of the programme to apply the group-analytical technique and lead groups is achieved with the essential knowledge of one's own emotions and their impact on human relations. Thus, all this will be worked on during the 3 years of the master's degree in the experiential groups, providing a real therapeutic process for students.

This Master's degree will be developed over three academic years as a training programme in group work geared towards providing psychotherapeutic support.
