Pain is the number one reason people seek medical care, and musculoskeletal disorders are among the most common conditions that involve pain. The physiotherapy focused on the musculoskeletal system has undergone a remarkable advance in recent years. In particular, this progress has been based on the adoption of evidence-based approaches and on a biopsychosocial perspective, along with increased knowledge of neuroscience, which has revolutionised the paradigm of the profession.
The expert diploma provides physiotherapists with a solid grounding in these advancements, while broadening and deepening the tools they have already acquired, such as clinical reasoning and pattern recognition, good manual skills and new treatment techniques.
Physiotherapists who want to improve their clinical practice tools and have a special interest in treating patients with musculoskeletal pain.
We are focused on innovative training methodologies such as simulationand new technologies, along with laboratoriesand the virtual hospital. These provide the ideal means to develop and acquire skills in a practical and experiential way.

You are a graduateinPhysiotherapy and you are interested in developing your diagnostic and treatment skills in physiotherapy from a biopsychosocial perspective and based on the state-of-the-art scientific evidence available.
The Admissions Committee, made up of the programme's directors and two lecturers, will decide on applications for admission to the programme. The Committee’s decision-making procedure is two-fold:
