You will learn the disciplines that are at the core of all engineering disciplines, with distinctive features of industrial engineering and computer science.
You will learn the fundamentals of industrial engineering, software development and communications.
You will discover the fundamentals of Electronic Engineering and Industrial Automation and learn how to build multimedia and network-enabled software.
You will delve into the application of Industrial Electronics and discover how to design and build both industrial and web-based software.
You will learn how to integrate software and electronics into industrial systems and how to control and optimise them, and you will be able to put into practice what you have learnt through internships.
In 5th year, you will develop the two final degree projects, one in the field of industrial electronic engineering and the other in the field of computer engineering, closely related to each other.

Double degree students must develop two final degree projects during the 5th year, with strong synergies between the two. These projects, which are compulsory, will enable students to approach and carry out a project proposal together with its feasibility study and its design and/or development.
To register for this project, students must have successfully completed, or at least enrolled for, all of the core and compulsory subjects on the programme curriculum.
At Deusto you will use the real software used by companies in your sector.
In the university-business seminars, our students receive grants from leading companies in the area. Working side by side with lecturers and business professionals, they develop pilot projects in which they experiment with the latest technologies and then implement them in these companies. The company and students learn at the same time.
