    A five-year programme

    Double degree structure

    The curriculum of the double degree in Business Administration (BMA) + Data Science and Artificial Intelligence offers a progressive learning pathway, from the fundamentals of business management and data analysis, to General Management and the development of AI-based solutions.

    Year 1

    You will start with an introductory mathematics course to reinforce key concepts and approach the subjects in this area with confidence. You will explore the fundamentals of business management (accounting, business, statistics, etc.) as well as the scientific and technical foundations of data science (algebra, calculus, programming, etc.).

    Year 2 - Year 3

    With a solid foundation in place, you will learn how organisations and their key areas (finance, marketing, accounting…) operate, and you will begin working with data. You will build artificial intelligence models and explore Deep Learning and Machine Learning.

    Year 4 - Year 5

    By the end of the programme, you will be able to develop a strategic plan and design and develop the algorithms and artificial intelligence models that support corporate strategy.

    Year 5

    You will apply everything you have learned so far through company internships and the completion of two Final Year Projects, one in the field of business and the other in data science. In addition, you will have the opportunity to undertake an international study period at a partner university abroad.

    One semester abroad

    The International Programme gives all students the opportunity to study an exchange semester abroad. This experience will allow them to live and study in a foreign country and will give them the opportunity to get to know new cultures, improve their language skills and learn to adapt to new environments.

    When?

    Students will take part in an international mobility programme in the first semester of their 5th year.

    Puesta en práctica de todo lo aprendido

    Proyectos Fin de Grado

    El doble grado culmina con la elaboración de dos Proyectos Fin de Grado, uno en el área de gestión empresarial y otro en el ámbito de la Ciencia de Datos e Inteligencia Artificial.

    Permiten al alumnado aunar todo lo aprendido durante sus estudios en un proyecto de su elección, mientras desarrolla competencias como la comunicación oral y escrita, el pensamiento sistémico o la orientación al logro. 

    Ambos proyectos se realizan durante el segundo semestre de 5.º curso, bajo la supervisión de un tutor, y se contemplan diferentes modalidades: 

    PROYECTO DE ADE

    • Creación de una nueva empresa: desarrollo de un plan de negocio sobre una idea empresarial propuesta por los propios estudiantes o, en su defecto, por un grupo de emprendedores externos. 
    • Proyecto estudio - país: análisis en profundidad de las posibilidades de negocio que un país concreto puede brindar a empresas de nuestra comunidad. 
    • Proyecto específico: desarrollo de un proyecto concreto de investigación o de alicación en un área concreta de una empresa.

    PROYECTO DE CIENCIA DE DATOS E INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL

    • Elaboración de un proyecto integral con carácter innovador en los ámbitos de la ciencia de datos y la inteligencia artificial, de naturaleza profesional o investigadora, en el que se sinteticen todas las competencias adquiridas en las enseñanzas.

    We will use development environments that allow data processing and visualisation based on R and Python, the two most widely used languages by data scientists today. Moreover, we will use development environments oriented towards massive data exploitation, such as Spark and HDFS. You will also learn how to get the most out of advanced tools for professional use such as Tableau, and how to use the full power of cloud computing provided by Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud, two giants in the sector, to design and deploy machine learning systems. 

    We believe that the best way for you to experience the potential of big data and artificial intelligence to create the systems of the future is to develop them yourself.
