    Undergraduate Final Year Project

    The project is compulsory and is carried out in the second semester of the fourth year. It will enable students to approach and carry out a project proposal along with its feasibility study and the design and/or development of the project.

    To register for this project, students must have successfully completed, or at least enrolled for, all of the core and compulsory subjects on the programme.

    In this degree you will not only acquire technical skills in human anatomy and physiology to design technological solutions for the social and health care field, but you will also improve your English language skills, which will provide you with a more competent profile in the labourmarket. You will be able to study at least 55% of your subjects in English. This approach will enable you to respond to the different scenarios offered by data science or artificial intelligence anywhere in the world.

    You can combine subjects in Spanish, English and Basque. A wide range of subjects in English and Basque so that you can choose your language path.

    To access the bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, you need to provide proof of having aa B2 level in English. At the end of your studies, the University of Deusto will certify your language proficiency in English by accrediting your C1 level.

    The new DeustoBio facilities house Physiology and Biomechanics laboratories , a Virtual Hospital for simulation practice, two skills rooms, four consulting rooms, a ward room, intensive care unit(ICU), operating theatre and defriefing rooms.
