MENUIn compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the University of Deusto has designate Ana Isabel Herrán, Professor of Civil Law at the Deusto Law School (DPO).
The Data Protection Officer will serve as a contact between citizens and the control authority (Basque Data Protection Agency) for issues relating to the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights.
His main duties will include monitoring of compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the privacy policy of the data controller (University of Deusto) as well as cooperation with the control authority.
