Deusto Law School and the Faculty of Legal Sciences at Universidad del Salvador (Argentina) have strengthened their collaboration by preparing two ambitious academic cooperation agreements. The main objective of this initiative is to make it easier for students at the Universidad del Salvador to obtain a law degree from the University of Deusto, once they have completed the online study programme offered by the Bilbao institution.
The first agreement is aimed at graduates of Universidad del Salvador and establishes a pathway for their integration into the academic programmes at the University of Deusto. This programme will give Argentine students the opportunity to complete their education by acquiring the skills and knowledge that characterise Deusto Law graduates upon finishing their degree.
The second agreement sets up an innovative double degree programme where students can study both degrees at the same time. Thanks to this agreement, interested students can simultaneously pursue both the Spanish Law degree at the University of Deusto and the Argentine Law degree at the Universidad del Salvador. This demanding academic pathway has been carefully designed to ensure the highest quality standards, and will last six years.
To complete the final arrangements for implementing both programmes, the Dean of Deusto Law School at the University of Deusto, José Ramón Intxaurbe Vitorica, held an institutional meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences at the Universidad del Salvador, Livia Mercedes Uriol, as well as with USAL’s Corporate Law professor, Miguel Ángel de Dios. During the meeting, the aforementioned authorities reaffirmed their strong commitment to the comprehensive education of future legal professionals, as well as their willingness to continue collaborating on projects that create new opportunities for young lawyers in the international arena.
This strategic alliance between both faculties marks a milestone in strengthening academic ties between Europe and Latin America, opening a hopeful horizon for a new generation of law students committed to justice, excellence, and global impact.
