Biostatistician and PhD in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), specialized in the development and application of statistical models for the analysis of complex data in health and sports. She holds a degree in Mathematics from the UPV/EHU (2016) and a Master's Degree in Statistics and Operational Research (MESIO) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the University of Barcelona (2018). She obtained her PhD in 2024 with a thesis focused on statistical models applied to sports injury research, developed at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM). She currently works as a biostatistician at the Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute and is an associate research professor in the Physiotherapy Degree program at the University of Deusto. Her research focuses on the development of advanced statistical models, with special attention to survival analysis, as well as the creation of statistical software. She is the author of several scientific publications in high-impact indexed journals and actively collaborates with professionals from different disciplines. In the field of sports, she has collaborated with professional soccer clubs and international research centers on the analysis of injury risk using advanced models.
