Natale Seron Arizmendi is a Professor of Public International Law and European Union Law at the University of Deusto, as well as a researcher at the Pedro Arrupe Institute of Human Rights. Her main research interests focus on human rights, strategic litigation, the role of the individual as an agent in international law, and the mechanisms of normative transformation through judicial action. Her work analyses how individual cases can generate structural changes in legal systems, with particular attention to the evolution of access to justice, the implementation of decisions of international bodies, and the consolidation of new rights in the international legal order.
