University faculty training grants (Ayudas FPU)

2025 FPU Grants call (Ayudas para la Formación de Profesorado Universitario 2025)

These grants are intended to foster research training in doctoral programs, enabling the completion of a PhD and the acquisition of university-level teaching competencies.

Requirements for applicants:

1. To be enrolled in a doctoral program for 2025/2026 or in a master's program that grants access to enroll in the doctoral program in 2026/2027.

2. Requirements regarding the completion date of studies.

3. Minimum average grade of the academic transcript.

Requirements for thesis supervisors:

1. Hold a PhD degree and meet the requirements established in the regulations governing doctoral studies at the University of Deusto.

2. Have a contractual relationship with the host institution (University of Deusto). This contractual relationship must be in place at the time the grant is accepted and must be maintained for the entire duration of the grant.

3. Each thesis supervisor may support only one eligible researcher applying for the FPU grant under this call.

Application and required documentation for the call:

1. Bachelor’s, Licentiate, Engineering, or Architecture degree(s), and second-cycle or Master’s degree (if applicable).

2. Academic transcript(s): showing completed credits, grades obtained, academic year, and the overall average grade.

3. Applicants covered by any of the exceptions specified in Article 7.2 a), b), and c): proof of the date of completion of studies.

4. Favorable evaluation by the Academic Committee.
