MENU / About the programmeBASQUEVOLT and the University of Deusto invite you to specialise in the technology, design and manufacture of lithium-ion batteries, a key component of the energy transition and the electrification of transport.
Developed by BASQUEVOLT experts and underpinned by the academic rigour of the University of Deusto, this programme will immerse you in the fundamentals of electrochemistry and materials science, industrial cell manufacturing processes, product validation and systems integration. You will have direct access to BASQUEVOLT’s laboratories and production facilities, working alongside industry professionals currently active in the sector.
You will add a specialisation in high demand within the battery industry to your CV, with knowledge and practical experience that will enable you to secure technical roles in manufacturing, quality, applications, industrial R&D or product management at companies within the European energy storage ecosystem.
You will develop the ability to tackle complex technical decisions across the entire battery value chain: from the selection of active materials and cell design to manufacturing process control, regulatory compliance validation and end-of-life analysis, all with a hands-on approach in laboratories and real-world industrial facilities.
