Deusto Business School and Management Solutions, an international consultancy firm specialising in business, finance, risk, organisation, technology and processes, have signed a framework agreement to strengthen the links between the university and the business world.
The agreement establishes a stable framework for cooperation that will enable the development of various academic and training initiatives, bringing students closer to the experience and expertise of the company’s professionals.
Among the planned areas of collaboration, professionals from Management Solutions will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate subjects through talks, practical workshops and challenge-based activities, particularly in areas such as data, digitalisation and strategy.
The partnership also includes initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ employability and professional development, such as participation in job fairs, career guidance days and company presentations, as well as the opportunity to undertake external internships at Management Solutions.
Learning linked to the challenges faced by businesses
The agreement also opens up new opportunities for students to work on real-world challenges and issues in the business environment. In this context, Management Solutions may contribute to the development, supervision or co-supervision of undergraduate and Master’s dissertations, as well as to the organisation of business case competitions, hackathons, datathons and other technology-related challenges.
In addition, the two institutions will be able to collaborate on applied research projects, sector-specific studies and joint publications, as well as on the design and development of continuing education and Executive Education programmes.
In this way, the agreement contributes to strengthening one of the key areas of activity at Deusto Business School: providing education that is closely connected to the needs of organisations and the new challenges facing the business world.
