On 15 July, Deusto Law School held the 1st Summer Conference on Social Security «30 years of the Toledo Pact: Pensions and Guaranteed Minimum Income under debate», organised by the University of Deusto and the Spanish Association of Health and Social Security (AESSS), in a hybrid format (in-person and online), with 66 registered participants.
The event featured the following speakers: Fernando Manrique López, Professor of Labour Law, Social Security lawyer, and practising lawyer; Lourdes López Cumbre, Professor of Labour Law and Social Security at the University of Cantabria; Guillermo Rodríguez Iniesta, accredited Professor of Labour Law and Social Security at the University of Murcia and Secretary General of the AESSS; José Luis Monereo Pérez, Professor and Head of the Department of Labour Law and Social Security at the University of Granada and President of the AESSS; and Francisco Javier Arrieta Idiakez, Professor of Labour Law and Social Security at the University of Deusto. In addition, 11 communications were defended at the conference.
The papers and communications presented will soon be published in open access in a monographic work by Laborum publishers.
