Maite Sagasti holds a degree in History and Cultural Heritage from the University of Deusto (1998–2002). In 2002, she was awarded an AECID scholarship to pursue the Museum Administration programme at the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino in Buenos Aires (Argentina). She then obtained the Certificate of Teaching Aptitude (CAP) and a Master’s in Management of Spanish Historical and Artistic Heritage from the University of Salamanca, both in 2003. Between 2004 and 2006, she undertook doctoral studies at the University of Deusto, which she complemented with a research visit at the University of Groningen (Netherlands).

With a strong commitment to continuous development, she completed her studies at the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), where she undertook a Master’s in Continuing Education in Mentoring and Executive Coaching (2024–2025) and the Expert Programme in Emotional Intelligence (2025–2026). This latest specialisation builds on her previous studies, enabling her to apply key tools in both her professional practice and personal life.

Since 2006, she has worked at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at University of Deusto as a European projects officer and coordinator of international postgraduate programmes.
