Laura Cuesta Cano is an assistant professor at UCJC, where she teaches Digital Communication and Social Media.
In 2024, she was a member of the Expert Committee on creating safe digital environments for children and adolescents, promoted by the Ministry of Youth and Childhood, and in 2025 a member of the Sharenting Working Group.
She is a communicator on digital well-being and the responsible use of technology for various media, and a contributor to RTVE’s programme La Aventura del Saber.
Author of the books Crecer con pantallas (2023) and Conectados, un contrato familiar para que el uso del móvil nos funcione a todos (2024), and co-author of the joint book Protección de la Infancia en los entornos digitales (2024).
