Professor of Philosophy and senior researcher at the Pedro Arrupe Human Rights Institute at the University of Deusto. She teaches Ancient Philosophy, Moral Philosophy, and Research Ethics. She is currently Head of Deusto International Research School at the same university. She has written and edited 22 books and over 100 articles and book chapters, highlighting her interest in exploring the complexity of concepts such as responsibility, deliberation, compassion, and inequality. One of her main themes, the bridge between philosophy, poetry, and art, which she has explored since the beginning of her essay writing, has evolved and now focuses on analyzing the similarities between the work of authors such as Eduardo Chillida, José Ángel Valente, and María Zambrano. In this vein, his most recent publications include Ethos and Parresia: Keys to Thinking About the Notion of Credibility (2024), Eduardo Chillida and María Zambrano, Guided by a Scent (2024), and The Existential Dimension of the City: Notes for a Phenomenology of Greeting (2024).
