PhD in Engineering from the University of Deusto (Cum Laude), specializing in Systemic Design of industrial products, and Technical Engineer from Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Her international background includes master training at Politecnico di Milano and the Fab Academy technical certification from CBA-MIT (2018). Since 2025, she is the Coordinator for the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and the Double Degree in Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Deusto. Her teaching activity in undergraduate and master’s programs focuses on Graphic Expression, Sustainable Design, and laboratories for Human-Centered Design and Service Design. As a researcher, she is member of the Deusto Design Research Group (DDRG), with publications in indexed journals (JCR Q2). She stands out as a FabExpert at Deusto FabLab, where she manages advanced manufacturing infrastructure (CAD/CAM, CNC, 3D printing) and coordinates transfer projects. Her career includes a significant period in the industrial sector (e.g., Sunrise Medical), providing expert insight into the product development cycle and medical technology. Committed to quality, she is a member of the Commission for Engineering Learning Methodologies (COMAI) and holds a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training, leading teaching innovation processes and continuous improvement in higher technical education.
