Eric Pardo Sauvageot has a degree in Political Science and is Master and Phd by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), with a thesis titled: "Energy disputes between Russia and Ukraine from 2006 to 2009: analysis of Russian's decisions in the escalation process through the lenses of prospect theory". His main research lines center on energy disputes in the post-soviet space and the international market for natural gas. He has dealt as well with Ukrainian politics. He teaches the following undergraduate courses: "Geopolitics", "Post-Soviet Space" and "Current Affairs".
