Luana Ferreira-Lopes Silva is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Education and Sport of the University of Deusto, where she also teaches at Deusto Business School and serves in the Teaching Innovation Unit. She holds a PhD in Education from the University of Deusto and an MA in Lifelong Learning from Aarhus University and the University of Deusto. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Management from EAESP-FGV and a degree in Pedagogy from the University of São Paulo. Her professional background includes collaboration on international research projects, with a focus on innovative teaching-learning methodologies, intercultural competence development, competency-based learning, and Virtual Exchange/COIL.
