Luana Ferreira-Lopes is a P.h.D researcher and lecturer based in Bilbao, Spain. Her research interests gravitate around the development of intercultural competence, cross-cultural management, and the use of technology to bridge people from different cultures. She currently works for the University of Deusto's Educational Innovation Unit and teaches undergraduate and master students at the Deusto Business School. Luana has participated in different international research projects and has been recently dedicated to a consultancy project that provides educational services to the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA). Before entering academia, she worked for a multinational company in the energy sector for nearly a decade.
