Computer Science Engineer from the University of Deusto, with additional executive education in entrepreneurship, innovation and venture creation from Babson College and Deusto Business School. I work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, technology, business strategy and executive education. I have founded and led technology companies, launched products, sold businesses, invested in startups and helped large organizations turn innovation into real business impact. I am currently Professor at the University of Deusto and Deusto Business School, where I teach entrepreneurship, innovation, business intelligence, decision support systems and applied artificial intelligence, including executive education programs such as MBA and Executive MBA. Professionally, I have led the Artificial Intelligence, Edge Technologies and Microsoft practices at SEIDOR, a global technology consulting firm with more than 10,000 professionals, driving strategy, business development, alliances, demand generation and go-to-market initiatives around AI and digital transformation. I founded NTS, a technology company later acquired and integrated into SEIDOR. I have also founded several startups, including Doocuments, Perpetuall, F1 Ayuda Online and Salsa Bastarda. Some succeeded, some failed, and all of them taught me valuable lessons about entrepreneurship, product-market fit, execution and resilience. I am Founding Partner and Board Member at MicroWave Ventures, a venture investment firm focused on technology startups, and I have invested as a business angel in several companies. I am also an Independent Board Member at Virtualware, listed on Euronext Growth. I was Director of the Master in Software Development and Integration at the University of Deusto and I regularly mentor entrepreneurs through Deusto Incubator. I am the author of Mediocre, a business management essay, and Los Canallas del Cuarto Cuadrante, a book on innovation and startup creation. My main focus today is helping executives, organizations and students understand how artificial intelligence, innovation and technology can be transformed into better decisions, better businesses and real competitive advantage.
