Galder Calavia Barron holds a Law degree with a specialisation in Economics from the University of Deusto (2020–2024) and completed a Double Master’s degree in Admission to the Bar and Legal Representation + Business Law at the University of Deusto (2024–2026). In 2024, he was awarded the 9th ‘Adrián Celaya Prize for Young Lawyers’ for his paper "Higiezinen gaineko kreditu-kontratuen arazoak. Bereziki, hipoteka-gastuen itzulera". Before joining the University as lecturer of the Faculty of Law, he worked in the commercial law department of a law firm. Since 2026, he has combined his academic work with teaching courses in civil law and private international law.
