Dr. Fabián-Alonso García Daza holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Universidad de Los Andes and the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, respectively. He currently serves as a professor in the Department of Mechanical, Design, and Industrial Organization Engineering, a role he combines with a solid track record in computational simulation research. He has developed his research and postdoctoral career at institutions such as the University of Manchester, the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM), and the Universidad Pablo de Olavide under the María Zambrano program, in addition to having experience in the biotechnology sector. He has participated in more than 5 competitive European and national projects, is a doctoral thesis co-supervisor, and has authored 25 scientific articles. In the field of teaching, he lectures on basic science subjects such as Mechanical Physics and General Chemistry in Engineering Bachelor's degree programs.
