a.urrejola@deusto.esShe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of the Basque Country and specialises in Clinical Sexology through the Master’s Degree in Sexology at the University of Almería and the Clinical Sexology Training Program at the Biko Arloak Couple Care Center. She has also received training as a Gender Equality Agent for Women and Men from the University of the Basque Country. Her professional career has focused on the educational, training, and therapeutic fields, developing programmes and projects in sexual education, coeducation, prevention of gender-based violence, and sexual empowerment processes in both formal settings (educational communities) and informal settings (associations, NGOs), as well as working as an individual and couples sex therapist. a member of the teaching staff of the University’s own Master’s Degree in Gender-Based Violence: Network-Based Intervention at the University of the Basque Country. Since 2020, she has worked in the Community-Based Penal Enforcement Service of the Department of Justice of the Basque Government as a sexual therapist in the Sustatzen Program: Learning to Build Intimacy. This is a therapeutic programme aimed at individuals convicted of crimes against sexual freedom, specifically men who have committed sexual violence.
