She holds a Degree in Psychology from the University of Oviedo. She is a Family Therapist accredited by the Spanish Federation of Family Therapy Associations and a Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychological Intervention, a Clinical Expert in the Prevention and Intervention of Sexual Abuse, and a Gender Equality Opportunities Agent for Women. Since 2020, she has been working as a psychologist at the Crisis Centre for Victims of Sexual Assault in the Principality of Asturias, where she provides specialised intervention with victims of sexual violence. Previously, she worked for four years at the ADHOC Association, providing therapeutic support to women victims of gender-based violence and sexual violence. She collaborates as a lecturer at the Adolfo Posada Institute of Public Administration, delivering training on gender-based violence and sexual violence. She is co-author of several scientific publications, including: - “Care for Women Victims of Gender-Based Violence in Hospital Emergency Services” (Investigaciones Feministas). - “Disclosure of Sexual Violence: Health, Psychological Counselling and the Fight against Revictimisation” (White Paper on Psychology against Gender-Based Violence, College of Psychology of Biscay). - “Victims of Sexual Assault: Intervention from the Crisis Centre of the Principality of Asturias” (Cuadernos de Psiquiatría Comunitaria).
