Mikel del Río holds a Technical Engineering degree in Industrial Design from Mondragon University and a Master's degree in Design Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, specializing in Graphic Design and Ephemeral Architecture. His training is complemented by studies in Mechanical Project Development and various workshops related to creativity, graphic representation, and architecture applied to design. Throughout his professional career, he has developed experience in industrial design, graphic design applied to product development, mechanical manufacturing, and university teaching. He has worked as a freelance designer and consultant in design management, corporate identity, and brand creation for various companies and projects. He has also collaborated on the development of sports components and the conceptualization of new products and services. In the industrial sector, he served as plant manager and project manager at a high-precision machining company focused on the automotive industry, leading areas such as the technical office, quality control, tooling design, and production process optimization. In academia, he has worked as a lecturer and researcher at Mondragon University and the University of Deusto, teaching courses related to industrial design, prototyping, digital fabrication, computer-aided design, reverse engineering, and product visualization.
