She has held positions of responsibility in companies related to Medium and High Voltage (MV/HV) Electrical Networks and Systems, as well as in the field of consulting. She is currently engaged in teaching and research activities at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto. Her research areas include applied mathematics in genomics, gene expression and gene regulation analysis, protein structure and function prediction, large-scale sequencing data analysis, and the development of new tools for the analysis and visualization of genomic data, as well as the implementation of algorithms for complex multimodal data analysis.
