Graduated in Biotechnology from the University of León and holds a PhD in Chemistry (specializing in Biochemistry) from the University of Southampton (UK). She holds a Master's degree in Translational Biomedical Research from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Master's degree in Education for Health Sciences Professionals from the University of Barcelona. She is currently a lecturer in the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering, teaching courses related to life sciences. Her research focuses on biomedicine and health sciences education.
