Víctor Urcelay Yarza Educational qualifications • PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto (1994) • BA in Economics and Business Administration from the ESTE (University of Deusto) (1987) Biography Víctor Urcelay Yarza is currently Professor and Director of the Marketing Department at the Deusto Business School. He was previously Dean of the ESTE (University of Deusto) from 1999 to 2009, and Assistant Dean of the Deusto Business School from 2009 to 2012. He was also promoter and coordinator of the Seminar on Banking and the Seminar on Marketing – courses aimed at managers and professionals both from the banking sector and the commercial and marketing area. As regards teaching activity, he is Lecturer on BA courses in Strategy and Marketing Plan, Strategic Simulation of Marketing and Relational Marketing. He has edited the Nuevos Enfoques de Gestión Bancaria (New Approaches to Banking Management) collection published by Maestre. His articles have been published in different specialist journals such as Boletín de Estudios Económicos, Banca-Finanzas, Nuevos Enfoques de Gestión Bancaria, Revista UD, Banking Service in Spain, Estudios Empresariales and Esic Market. He has been a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary of the Basque Institute of Competitiveness since 2006 to the present, consultant for ESC-Pau and patron of the ALCE Foundation representing the Deusto Business School.CV
