olatz ukar arrien

Olatz Ukar Arrien holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering and a PhD from the University of the Basque Country. She is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto, where she teaches undergraduate and master's courses, mainly in physics and electrical engineering. Her research focuses on sustainability and energy transition, with interests in electricity markets, energy communities, energy justice and the integration of environmental criteria into engineering. She also works on the sustainability of industrial processes and on integrating sustainability and ethical reflection into engineering education. She has authored scientific publications in these fields and participates in national and international research projects related to energy and sustainable development.
