rebeca cortazar goicoechea

Rebeca Cortázar holds an integrated MEng degree and a PhD in Computing from the University of Deusto. She is currently a full professor in the Department of Computing, Electronics and Communication Technologies, and teaches at the Bilbao campus. Her teaching activity focuses on the field of Computing Engineering. Specifically, she teaches the undergraduate courses “Software Requirements” and “Software Design”. She also teaches the course ‘Information Systems I’ in the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management at DBS. She has participated in several research projects related to Software Quality Assurance and she is experienced in international projects related to Higher Education (EU Tempus, Atlantis and Erasmus+ programmes). Her research and educational interest include Software Development Processes and Education in the Software Engineering field. She has publications in these areas and has also served as a member of the program committee for several international conferences.
