Basque Government Grants
General call for grants
Students at the University of Deusto who have administrative residency in the Basque Autonomous Community and are pursuing studies leading to official postgraduate degrees may apply for the grants offered by the Department of Education, Universities and Research of the Basque Government.
These grants may include the following types of aid:
- Basic Amount
- Enrolment Fee
- Basic amount linked to family income (€1,700)
- Basic amount linked to residence (between €2,400 and €3,500)
- Basic amount linked to academic achievement (between €100 and €250)
- Variable Supplementary Amount
- Supplementary amount for intercity travel (between €192 and €993)
- Supplementary amount linked to learning support (between €300 and €475)
The requirements will be as specified in the official call.
Forms, deadlines, and documentation
Applications must be completed using the online application form available on the Basque Government website. The documentation must be attached to the same form in the section provided for this purpose.

Electronic identification
Applications for the Basque Government’s general call for grants are expected to be submitted through electronic identification.
The Basque Government has published how to apply for this electronic identification;
- Certificate and B@kQ / Izenpe Shipset (it can be managed at the UD)
-Electronic ID card (DNIe), needed to request the digital certificate afterwards.
- National Mint and Stamp Factory (FNMT)
