This week, the Faculty’s classrooms have once again become an international meeting point thanks to a visit from a group of students from Andrés Bello University (UNAB) in Chile. From 19 to 23 January, the students are taking part in an intensive Sports Management programme delivered by lecturers from the Physical Activity and Sports Sciences degree (CAFyD).

Now in its fourth year, this initiative has become a key event in our calendar. During the programme, students explore everything from the operation of sports institutions in the Basque Country to the Athletic model, valued for its cultural roots and social purpose, while also gaining insight into the management of traditional Basque sports.

In addition, the programme covers cross-cutting areas such as gender perspectives, health, and emerging frontiers in sports research.
