The Faculty of Philosophy and Arts celebrates the 30th anniversary of Basque Philology

Basque philologists from the 25 different groups of graduates who have studied English Philology during the last 30 years since the degree was created at the University of Deusto, filled the Auditorium last 2 May. Lecturers, former students and friends who wanted to be present at this event, enjoyed this moving ceremony during which, apart from commemorating the creation of Basque Philology, special tribute was also paid to Gotzon Garate on behalf of the now late pioneering lecturers Patxi Altuna and Alfonso Irigoien, among others.News
