Eider Barrenetxea, Itziar Casanueva and Andikona Uriarte, lecturers in Criminal Law at the University of Deusto Law School, have just published "Zigor Zuzenbidea: Delituak eta haien zigorrak. Ikasgaia prestatzeko materialak". After several years of work and with the collaboration of the Faculty, as well as the valuable support of Agurtzane Mallona, we now have materials in Basque aimed mainly at our students. Thanks to this publication, students will be able to have a textbook in Basque to prepare for the subject "Crimes and their penalties".

The content focuses on the main crime groups that are usually dealt with in this subject. A special effort has been made to unify the terminology used, which is no easy task given that there is currently no up-to-date translation of the Penal Code into Basque. For this reason, the material includes translations of the Criminal Code provisions corresponding to each topic.  

However, these materials are not exclusively addressed to our students. In order to broaden their scope and usefulness, they have been published openly, so that anyone interested can freely access them.
