According to the Rector, Jaime Oraá, this award means one step further towards the achievement of the commitments acquired by the University of Deusto in relation to quality within its Strategic Plan. In his opinion, anything that is undertaken by Deusto must be noted for its quality. And it is particularly significant to him that DeustuLan has obtained this quality award, which was first awarded to the university Library last year, since the students' labour insertion is of prime importance for the University of Deusto.
DeustuLan offers support to students to enter the job market after leaving university. Therefore, it deals with job offers, holds company presentations, Job Fairs, courses for unemployed people. In addition, it offers advice for young people on a range of work-related issues: from CV preparation to work placements or self-employment. Further information: www.deustulan.deusto.es
This award, which ensures that Deusto's labour insertion service complies with the standard requirements, means significant improvements in user attention and satisfaction, since it guarantees the commitment to improvement in the provision of services through the implementation of a quality management system that includes DeustuLan's main processes such as Guidance, Mediation and Self-Employment.
