Deusto Business School strengthens its international standing in the field of sustainability and social impact. For the third year running, the University of Deusto’s business school is included in the Positive Impact Rating (PIR), a unique ranking designed and assessed by students themselves to measure how they perceive the positive impact of their respective institutions. In this new edition, thanks to the participation of a sample of 131 students from various degree programmes within the faculty, the institution successfully retains its position in Level 4 (Transforming School).
This distinction maintains its status as a “transforming institution” within a global framework that, in this edition, includes 87 business schools from 32 countries. Level 4 certifies that the school has a culture of positive impact that is deeply embedded in its governance and systems, with visible results across multiple dimensions.
This year’s results reflect outstanding performance: Deusto Business School achieved a score of 8.4 and exceeds the average of participating international schools in all assessed categories. Students rate the faculty’s educational and institutional model very positively across the seven dimensions of the PIR, structured into three main areas: Governance and Organisational Culture (Inspire); Programmes, Learning Methods and Student Support (Educate); and Role Modelling and Public Engagement (Engage).
With these results, which build on last year’s score of 8.3, above the international average, Deusto Business School reaffirms its commitment to transparency, active listening to its key stakeholders, and the values of humanistic leadership.
