San Sebastian Campus
On Monday, 6th June, Deusto Business School will be hosting the 8th "Business Sport & Fun" workshop at the San Sebastian campus of the University of Deusto. This is a three-day programme aimed at first-year students with an interest in business management. Participants will have the opportunity to find out about Deusto Business School's learning methodology and experience this training model that combines the worlds of business and sport. The sessions are held at the San Sebastian campus in an open relaxed atmosphere that prompts participants to share their experiences.
Asun Ibáñez Romero, Vice-Dean of Deusto Business School at its San Sebastian campus, explained that this workshop allows participants to get to know the world of business management in a dynamic and fun way. The ultimate goal is for students to enjoy themselves while working on creativity and innovation. "In a company, as in a sports team, you have to work hard and effort is an important value. This being the case, it is essential to share a common goal and enjoy the journey towards achieving it," she pointed out.
In previous years, the Business Sport & Fun programme featured the participation of renowned professionals from the sports and business sector graduated from Deusto Business School, such as Ander Vilariño, motor racing driver, Adur Letamendia, project manager at Pukas Surf S.L. and professional surfer, Nacho Núñez, president of Gipuzkoa Basket, and Real Sociedad professionals such as Juan Carlos Ubis, among others.
A comprehensive fun programme where participants learn by practising
The activities scheduled for this 8th session, which will be held on 6, 7 and 8 June, are designed to give participants an insight into the university, its work methods and teaching methods. "Everything is organised in a fun and relaxed way through participatory activities that allow us to enjoy ourselves while we learn," Asun Ibáñez concluded.
