The PhD Programme in Psychology is supported by areas of expertise from various departments: Personality, Psychological Assessment and Treatment, Basic Psychology, and Social Psychology, which together provide a multidisciplinary perspective and contribute to seven different research areas.

The PhD programme is structured around two large research areas:
The programme aims to provide quality research training in various fields of study in Psychology. The aim is to provide students with core skills applicable to different contexts related to basic and applied research, such as Clinical and Health Psychology, Social Psychology, Educational Psychology and Experimental Psychology. To this end, it seeks to contribute to the advancement of knowledge by educating and training students in new methodologies, actively involving them in research projects and activities.
PhD programmes featurecross-cutting research training activities as well as specific activities for each degree. These activities aim to provide excellent training to new researchers and to develop the best possible research skills.
Research training activities include:courses, conferences, seminars, attendance at congresses, publication of articles and student mobility periods.
The aim is to create a space for intellectual encounterswhere researchers can develop their training in an appropriate context.
