17th ESME Awards to the best business ideas

On Friday, 25 April, the awards presentation of the 17th ?ESME best business idea competition? was held at the Miramar Palace in San Sebastian. This initiative, organised by ESME Junior Company at ESTE faculty, seeks to be the first contact between the business world and first and second-year students of secondary education under LOGSE, or intermediate and higher vocational education in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. This competition involves the proposal and development of an original and feasible business idea in which aspects such as the type of chosen business, location, structure, number of employees, competitors, steps to start up a business, financing, feasibility, etc have to be considered. This 17th competition has been carried out in collaboration with the Department for Innovation of the Regional Council of Gipuzkoa, Elkargi, Kutxa, Noticias de Gipuzkoa and ESTE faculty.

This year, all the runners-up in this competition have been awarded ESTE Special Award by ESTE faculty.A scholarship worth 750 euros will be awarded to all those runners-up wishing to enrol on the first year of the BA in Business Administration and Management or the BA in Business Administration and Management and Technical Engineering in Management Computer Systems, once the admission process has been completed.The deadline for applications is 2 years.
