garagERASMUS is the first professional network of the Erasmus Generation developed in coordination with the European Commission with more than 40 Foundation members. This initiative of social and entrepreneurial innovation aims to support the shaping of a better integrated Europe. It pursues its mission through the matching of demand and offer of international jobs, by fostering social initiatives and helping the creation of new start-ups. To fulfil this mission, garagERASMUS establishes an alliance of universities, companies, cities and local authorities and associations.

The University of Deusto and garagERASMUS steadily collaborate in common projects and in the dissemination and divulgation of research results. Among others, garagERASMUS is one of the partner institutions supporting the DIRS-COFUND project, which aims at attracting qualified international “Early Stage Researchers” to an attractive and highly internationalised, interdisciplinary and intersectoral research and training ecosystem for a high quality research and training programme designed to further develop their skills and employability.

In line with this joint collaboration, Toñi Caro, Director of the International Research Project Office of the University of Deusto, has been recently appointed advisor of the garaERASMUS Ethical, Disciplinary and Private Relations Committee. The Committee is competent to assess any serious and proved allegation that might arrive to the Foundation informing that some of the Foundation Members, Participants, and garaERASMUS staff are not respecting these principles.
