The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto presented its team for the new Deusto Chair Digital Industry. The objective of this initiative is to support the development of specialised talent for the direct application of knowledge to the industrial sector, through training, dissemination activities and the generation and transfer of knowledge in the field of digitalisation of industry.
The Chair Digital Industry joins other DEUSTO projects in the area of Industry 4.0, digital transformation, which is a key opportunity to boost the Basque Country industrial competitiveness.
Talent, talent and more talent is the key ingredient on which Deusto focuses its efforts for the supporting the progress and innovation. Professional talent, but also multidisciplinar, provided by a team that brings together IT, Industrial, Electronic, Automation, Mechanical, Telecommunication and Industrial Organisation engineers.
The Chair will be developed in close cooperation with six leading companies: IDOM, BBK, ETXE-TAR Accenture, Telefonica and GE.
