Ornela Bardhi, researcher of the Interdisciplinary Research Platform Ageing and Wellbeing presented her research on the use of deep learning, algorithms and techniques to help predict cancer at the 'Falling Walls Lab–Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions', organised in Brussels on 25 September.

The 'Falling Walls Lab-– Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions' is a science contest to showcase the most promising scientific projects. The researchers have the opportunity to present in a three minutes pitch their research to a distinguished jury representing science and business organisations. All scientific disciplines are eligible and contestants are selected based on an open call.

The event is organised by the European Commission in collaboration with the European Parliament and supported by the Falling Walls Foundation.
