The Faculty of Health Sciences has organised workshops on Health Prevention and Promotion, where 40 fourth-year medical students will offer personalised health advice to students, teaching and research staff, and service staff on topics such as blood pressure, tobacco, and alcohol consumption.

This health prevention and promotion activity will take place on 15 and 16 May, from 13:00 to 15:00, in both cloisters of the main building at the Bilbao campus. During the workshops, students, guided by the teaching staff from the area of Family and Community Medicine, will measure blood pressure and assess tobacco and alcohol consumption using appropriate clinical tools. Based on the results, they will provide personalised guidance with recommendations to improve health and reduce risk factors.

The initiative aims to raise awareness about cardiovascular risk factors and promote healthy lifestyle habits, while also offering students practical experience in approaching prevention from a community perspective.
